October 7 - Lansing to Lancaster, Ohio. The route will have minimal freeway time and will be primarily on State and County roads. We have a special rate for two nights at the Baymont in Lancaster, $114 (tax and fees included) per night for a double queen room. To make a reservation, either follow the link above, or call the Baymont directly at (740) 994-4874. Select option 3 to speak to the front desk and give the group identifier (HOG4668) to receive our group rate. THE RESERVATION MUST BE MADE BY SEPTEMBER 7 TO RECEIVE THE GROUP RATE.
October 8 - We will start with the Hocking Hills Scenic Byway. The fall colors are anticipated to be peaking during the second and thirds weeks of October, so we will be touring the park on Thursday, ahead of the weekend traffic. There will be a stop at Ash Cave for a rest/sightseeing/snack break. We are planning a late lunch stop so please plan on packing snacks. After completing the Byway, we will ride a combination of two of the Windy Nines. The route will take us south along the Ohio River. In addition to a lunch stop, we will be stopping at Baxter Harley-Davidson before heading back to Lancaster. If we have the time and the interest, we may also swing by Farrow Harley-Davidson and Joe Carson Harley-Davidson after we return to Lancaster.
October 9 – We will check out of the hotel and work our way to Athens. Along the way, we will ride another of the Windy Nines. There will be a stop at Athens Harley-Davidson before heading to the Big Muskie Bucket Memorial. This is a HOG 15 For 26 Coin Ride. We will be stopping for lunch at the Triple Nickle Diner on the way. After leaving the memorial, we will stay on the Windy Nine until we reach McConnelsville. We will then start working our way home along the Muskingum River. We are also working on group rate to spend the evening in Sunbury. More information to follow.
October 10 - We will head back to Lansing. We will again be minimizing freeway time, primarily taking state and county roads. There will be a couple of dealership visits on the way, and we plan to have a lunch stop at Sauder Village.
